I am moving, does anyone have tips on packing all of my jewlery?

I am moving, does anyone have a clever tip on packing all of my jewelry? The only tips I can find are for packing a small amount for a trip. I have a travel case for my good jewelry, I have ALOT of costume jewelry necklaces and I can not figure out a way they will not tangle.

If you take a drinking straw and drop one end of the necklace through it and the fasten the clasp it will not tangle. You can cut them shorter for thin bracelets too. If they are too "chunky to fit into a straw I would pack each of them seperately in ziploc bags. The snack size would be ideal. Hope this helps.

wrap each item individually in paper or a small sheet of bubble wrap and put them in the case in stacks. NEAT stacks.

its easy to find big jewlary boxes that have individual sections for each pair of jewlary.
