Can someone give me tips on moving?

Yes there are lists of things to do before during and after moving day. I would think that if you go to some of the bigger moving companies moving sites such as: allied van Lines, Mayflower, United van lines, or call your local moving company they can send you a check list….

Get a lot of beer, friends and a moving truck. Have a moving party!

Yes! I just moved yesterday. I can surely tell you that you need to buy all of your cleaning supplies that you will need and if you have things that your hanging buy your nails and screws. I know me and my mom are still doing alot of things and most of our stuff is in storage so we've had to spend alot of money. Theres not really a way to make it easier but you can make it smother by making sure that you have everything packed and by the door.

I think, from experience, You should have started a couple of months ago, but….
1.Mail forwarding
2.carpet cleaning
3.enough matts for fragile things(news paper for stuffing)
4.coffee or soda for people helping Me/sandwich's/cookies
Good Luck and I hope the weather is good, the last time I moved, it had to be rescheduled, as it was icey out.
